I’m New Here

What type of church is St. Paul?

St. Paul is part of the United Methodist Church.

When should I visit?

There is no time like the present! We are eager to meet you! You are welcome to join us any Sunday for worship at 9:00 am or 11:00 am. Come just as you are, we simply encourage you to come!

Where are you located?

We are located at 8264 Lone Star Road in Jacksonville, FL. We are located east of Arlington Middle School and a few blocks up from Millcreek Road.

What should I wear?

We believe that the most important thing you can “wear” to church is a heart ready to worship! Other than that, come in what is comfortable for you. If you love to dress up, by all means, bring out your Sunday best! If you are more into flip-flops and jeans, that works too!

What are weekend gatherings like?

We have two primary worship services on Sunday morning. Our 9:00 am service is a bit more traditional. At this service we sing songs from the hymnal and follow a traditional order of worship including creeds and formal prayers.

Our 11 am service is geared towards families, although all people are welcome to attend. Our praise team plays at this service and we intentionally design the worship experience to be engaging for children as well as adults.

Sunday School for all ages is offered at 10 am. Nursery care for children under 5 years of age is offered during both services.

How long are services?

Our Sunday worship services last about an hour.

Do you have programs for children and youth?

In addition to Sunday School we have youth group on early Wednesday evenings. Throughout the year we hold several events geared towards children and families such as our Kingdom Carnival, Easter at St. Paul, Vacation Bible School, The Pumpkin Patch, and Trunk or Treat.

Any tips for first time visitors?

We are sincerely excited to meet you! We are ready to receive you and welcome you into our church family. We hope to see you soon!
